nutrisystem diet comparisons to the FDA chart
Nutrisystem reviews results: nutrisystem diet comparisons to the FDA chart show some interesting findings!
The latest FDA chart published recently shows the Dietary Guidelines for Americans to eat and stay healthy. There has been great interest in the Nutrisystem weight loss program As the findiings below show, the Nutrisystem diet meets or exceeds the FDA and USDA standards for healthy eating.
The NutriSystem Nourish meal plans:
- Provide approximately 55% of the calories from low-glycemic, “good” carbohydrates, 25% of the calories from protein, and 20% of the calories from fat.
- Contain less than the recommended limit of sodium per day (which, by the way, is good.)
- Contain less than half the maximum allowed calories from trans and saturated fats
- Consistent in choosing lean, low-fat and non-fat meats like the guidelines recommend
- Include the ability to get half your servings of carbohydrates in the form of whole grains and the other half from enriched or whole-wheat sources, as suggested
- Recommend at least 4 ½ cups of fruits and vegetables, which is what is advised in the report
In summary, nutrisystem diet comparisons to the FDA chart show favorable results. So now go ahead and lose that weight! (An no need to dash diet :-))

OK, that’s fine and dandy, but do you know if this program has the same flatulence issue someone I know who knew someone who had when she used the Jenny Craig diet a few years ago.
Has anyone heard of nutrisystem flatulence?

CupCake,
Neither heard (or smelt :-)) of nutrisystem flatulence!
Seriously, flatulance is not a problem with nutrisystem. Jenny Craig, I do remember, had a lot of flatulance and gas complaints, not nutrisystem. (And yes, just like you heard it from someone who knew someone, I actually heard it on the Arsenio Hall show monolog back in the 90’s).
So go ahead, tell that someone who knows someone to keep her mind (and ears and nose) open to nutrisystem, as “nutrisystem flatulence” is not a problem.
PS: Nutrisystem Gas sounds like a grunge band name
(Maybe there already is one, you never know these days)
Good luck!
